Tree of Life from Redwood Burl with Myrtlewood Stand

This Redwood Burl Tree of Life is a very rare collection piece.  It is presented on a custom made Myrtlewood stand with a contrasting wood color that brings our the reddish tones of the beautiful Redwood Burl.  

The Myrtlewood tree is a species that is unique to our region here on the Southern Oregon Coast.  Redwood Burls are also becoming very difficult to source.  This particular piece was crafted from a recovered piece of a burl that washed up on the beach after a major rain storm here in Curry County Oregon.  A very rare and fortunate beach find!
